Mission Statement

I’ve outlined below my mission statement:

 

· To maintain German Wirehaired Pointers that are true to the breed standard;

· Provide high quality of life for those in my possession or have created;

· Be responsible for each dog that I am listed as Breeder on;

· Continue education in all that creates health;

· Openly discuss issues with dedicated owners;

· Share health information in relation to my dogs; and

· Assist in breed rescue

My position statement:

 

My goal is to first and foremost to have and create on occasion dogs that fit the breed standard AND have a high quality of confirmation. 

 

I breed dogs that I feel will make offspring that are healthy, will do what the breed was originally was intended to do and be built well enough to compete in dog confirmation shows. 

 

That does not make these show dogs rather it creates dogs that have a solid confirmation foundation that should be able to take the rigors of hunting over the years and not break down.    Of course, nutrition plays into that as well, but having a solid foundation is the best start.
