Devata means “a deity, a divine
being, a good spirit, an idol”.  German
Wirehaired Pointers are divine in the
field, should be good spirited and we
do idol their ability.  It’s a perfect
name for them.

 

Instinctive hunting companions sums it
up too; they have instinct to hunt and should
be your companions.

the breed’s intended purpose, what they
should look like, how they should act and what health problems are seen in this breed.
